Faghani chosen as fourth official for Uruguay-France QF
Tasnim – NIZHNY NOVGOROD, Alireza Faghani from Iran has been chosen as fourth official for the opening quarter-final match of 2018 World Cup between two-time champion Uruguay and 1998 champion France in Nizhny Novgorod.
FIFA has picked Argentine referee, Nestor Pitana, to handle the match. He will be assisted by his countrymen Hernan Maidana and Juan Pablo Belatti.
Reza Sokhandan from Iran has been also chosen as reserve assistant.
Faghani has officiated Germany vs Mexico, Serbia vs Brazil and Argentina vs France so far.
