Loading...Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Al Sadd head coach Jesualdo Ferreira said they have traveled to Tehran to defeat Iran’s Esteghlal football team.
The Qatari giants will play Esteghlal in the first leg of the 2018 AFC Champions League quarterfinals at the Azadi 80,000-seated Stadium on Monday.
“Playing at the Azadi stadium always is amazing. We know that how different is to play at the stadium. In Qatar, we have small stadiums but we’ve come here to enjoy your stadium,” the Portuguese coach said in the pre-match news conference.
“Al Sadd and Esteghlal have changed a lot from the last season. Anyway, we have to think about what we can do today. Al Sadd have traveled to Tehran to beat Esteghlal,” the Portuguese coach added.
