Youth Olympics: Iran Futsal Team defeats Soloman Islands, faces Brazil on Wednesday

AFC – BUENOS AIRES, Islamic Republic of Iran will be in action on Wednesday when they take on Brazil.

Both teams opened their campaigns with big wins, with Iran defeating Solomon Islands 9-2 and Brazil registering a 6-1 triumph over Russia.

Futsal is making its debut in the Youth Olympics with Argentina, Egypt, Panama, Iraq and Slovakia in Group A of the men’s tournament. Group B consists Iran, Solomon Islands, Costa Rica, Russia and Brazil.
