Loading...Tasnim – MASHHAD, Padideh defeated Foolad 2-0 on Thursday to cement first place at top of the Iran Professional League (IPL).
In the match, held in Mashhad’s Imam Reza Stadium, Younes Shakeri gave the host the lead in the 55th minute and Mohammadreza Khalatbari extended the lead in the 79th minute.
Padideh moved four points clear at top of the table.
On Friday, Saipa will host Esteghlal, Machine Sazi face Naft Masjed Soleyman, Sepidrood Rasht play Zob Ahan, Sepahan meets Nassaji and Esteghlal Khuzestan face Pars Jonoubi.
Padideh sits top of the IPL table with 20 points, followed by Sepahan and Persepolis both with 16 points.
