“It’s true, it looks like we have gone over 100 wins over more than 180 games by different teams … It has not been an easy course, it’s something that makes me very proud and happy, but more important to me is to mention how grateful I am to Iran is to the Iranian team for the way they helped me to achieve this record in my career, “said the Iranian coach.
The Persian team is preparing for the Asian Cup and Tuesday’s game with Venezuela is part of this preparation plan. “It will not be easy because we will have big opponents like South Korea, Japan, Australia, Saudi Arabia or Qatar but, as I have already said, if we know the difficulties we have, we also know who we are and what we want to do . More important than any record, what I can say is that I will put all my experience at the service of Iranian football so that we can achieve a place of honor in the Asian Cup, “he added.
