The Emiratis media reported that the match will be held in Jordan on December 25.
Tuesday night, Iran defeated Oman 2-1 in a friendly match in Muscat.
The friendly match was held as preparation for the qualification phase for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-23 Championship 2020.
Iran has been drawn along with Iraq, Yemen and Turkmenistan in Group C, while Oman is pitted with Qatar, Nepal and Afghanistan.
The AFC U-23 Championship 2020 is scheduled to take place in Thailand. It will act as the AFC qualifiers for the men’s football tournament at the 2020 Olympics.
