Iran U-23 Football Team draws with Jordan in friendly

Loading...Tasnim – MUSCAT, Jordan and Iran U-23 football teams drew 1-1 in a friendly match on Tuesday.
In the match held at the Al-Hassan Stadium in Irbid, Jordan, Al Hourani found the back of Iran’s net in the 7th minute.
Vahid Namdari equalized the match in the 37th minute with a header.
Iran has recently defeated Oman and Syria in three friendly matches in Muscat and Kish Island.
Iran is preparing for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-23 Championship 2020.
Zlatko Kranjcar’s team has been drawn along with Iraq, Yemen and Turkmenistan in Group C.
The AFC U-23 Championship 2020 is scheduled to take place in Thailand. It will act as the AFC qualifiers for the men’s football tournament at the 2020 Olympics.
