Football Italia – TEHRAN, Vincenzo Montella has reportedly been offered a new job as Coach of the Iran national team.

The tactician has struggled to hold down a position since leaving Sampdoria in the summer of 2016.

He was fired by Milan in November 2017, hired by Sevilla three days later and then dismissed by the Spaniards too in April.

According to Tuttosport, Montella is taking a few days to consider the proposal from the Iranian Federation.

It would be a three-year contract, leading up to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, worth €1.5m plus bonuses per year.
