Loading...Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Esteghlal suffered a severe blow to their chances of beating Persepolis in Tehran derby after Vouria Ghafouri was ruled out on the eve of the clash.
He suffered a hamstring injury in the match against Al Ain of the UAE in AFC Champions League in mid-March.
Ghfouri, who scored his team’s winner in the derby last year, is not fully recovered for this match.
Esteghlal will move up top of the table if they defeat Persepolis in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium on Saturday.
