IPL: Padideh edges Saipa to move up one spot

Tasnim – TEHRAN, Padideh football team edged past Saipa 1-0 in the Iran Professional League (IPL) on Sunday.

Substitute Younes Shakeri scored the winning goal in the 65^th minute.

Yahya Golmohammadi’s team moved one place up to fourth place with 52 points, five points adrift of Persepolis.

Padideh is trying to book a place at the AFC Champions League for the first time.

Sepahan is second with 54 points and Esteghlal sits third with 53 points.
