Read Celtic – GLASGOW, Celtic are reportedly ready to reignite their interest in Iran left-back Milad Mohammadi, with the 25-year-old thought to be keen on a move to Celtic Park.

According to Football Insider, the Hoops are ready to move for Mohammadi, with the defender out of contract with Russian side Akhmat Grozy this month.

The report suggests that numerous sides in Belgium, along with Championship clubs Fulham and Bristol City, are keen on the player, however, Mohammadi is open to the idea of moving to Celtic Park.

The Hoops look set to bring in recruits across the back line this summer, with Neil Lennon losing right-back Mikael Lustig and centre-back Dedryck Boyata.

Star left-back Kieran Tierney is also being heavily linked with a move to Arsenal, with the Gunners making two bids for the 22-year-old.

A move for Mohammadi could well depend on whether or not Tierney departs Celtic Park in the coming weeks, however, the Iran international appears to be a suitable addition for Lennon’s side.
