Mehdi Sharifi linked with Azerbaijan’s Sumgayit

Loading...Tasnim – TEHRAN, Iranian football forward Mehdi Sharifi has been linked with a move to Azerbaijani football club Sumgayit.
The 26-year-old forward is training with Sumgayit after being deemed surplus to requirements by Persepolis coach Gabriel Calderon.
Sharifi joined Persepolis in June 2018 with a two–year contract but played four times for the Iranian team and failed to score.
Sumgayit FK is an Azerbaijani football club based in Sumgayit that plays in the Azerbaijan Premier League.
