Sardar Azmoun becomes best Iranian goalscorer in CL

Loading...Tasnim – TEHRAN, Zenit St. Petersburg striker Sardar Azmoun has become the best Iranian goalscorer at the UEFA Champions League.
Azmoun has now overtaken Mehdi Mahdavikia and Ali Daei in the competition.
He scored Zenit’s third goal against Benfica in the 3-1 win at the Krestovsky Stadium at Group G Wednesday night.
Last week, he scored the opening goal of the 2019-20 season in the match against Lyon.
Now, he has scored four goals in the competition, one goal ahead of Mahdavikia and Daei.
