Tasnim – TURIN, Portugal striker Cristiano Ronaldo insisted that breaking Ali Daei’s record for international goals is on the cards.

The 34-year-old forward took his tally of international goals to 99 with a late tap-in as Portugal secured a place at Euro 2020 with a labored 2-0 win over Luxembourg on Sunday.

Ronaldo is now just 10 goals behind the highest international goalscorer of all time – Iran legend Daei.

And he insists breaking Daei’s record is on the cards.

“All records must be broken and I will beat that record,” said Ronaldo after the match.
