Alexander Nouri appointed Hertha Berlin Assistant Coach
Tasnim – BERLIN, Iranian coach Alexander Nouri has been appointed as Jurgen Klinsmann assistant at the Bundesliga club Hertha Berlin.
Klinsmann has taken charge of Hertha Berlin until the end of the season.
Nouri helped rescue Werder Bremen from relegation in 2016-17.
The Iranian-German coach was a candidate to lead some Iranian teams.
Nouri had been linked with move to Persepolis and Tractor last year.
He started his coaching career in November 2011 as part of the coaching staff of VfB Oldenburg and worked as head coach at Werder Bremen II and Werder Bremen.
Nouri most recently worked as head coach in FC Ingolstadt.
