Team Melli U-23 defeats Nassaji in friendly match

Tasnim – TEHRAN, Iran’s U-23 national football team defeated Nassaji 5-2 in a friendly match on Sunday.

The friendly was held as part of the preparation for the 2022 AFC U-23 Asian Cup.

Mehdi Mahdavikia’s team will also play Persepolis on Thursday.

The Iranian team has been drawn into Group A along with host Uzbekistan, Qatar, and Turkmenistan.
