Uzbek national team keeper Utkir Yusupov joins Foolad

Tasnim – AHVAZ, Uzbekistan’s international goalkeeper Utkir Yusupov joined Iranian football club Foolad.

The 33-year-old goalkeeper has penned a two-year deal with the Iranian club.

Yusupov joined Foolad from Uzbek football team Navbahor Namangan.

Yusupov is Foolad’s fifth signing in the summer.

Foolad, who has hired ex-Persepolis coach Yahya Golmohammadi for the 2024-25 Iran Professional League (IPL), finished 11th in the 16-team table.
