PFDC – PAMPLONA, Early goals from Francisco Juanfran and Walter Pandiani gave Osasuna a fine home 2-0 victory over Espanyol.

Juanfran struck after seven minutes of play and Pandiani added the second two minutes later as the Basques snatched three vital points.
The visitors had a good opportunity to come back into the match with the expulsion of Ruper in the 39th minute, but Espanyol’s Roncaglia was also sent off shortly after the restart.
The Catalans showed a notable improvement in the second half, but their efforts were all denied by Ricardo as Osasuna hold on for the victory.
Javad Nekounam played the full 90 minutes, displaying a satsfying performance in midfield, while Masoud Shojaei watched the match from the bench despite his great performance in the Copa del Rey earlier this week.
