The IPL pacesetter was held to a 1-1 draw at the Yadegar-e Emam Stadium in front of more than 50,000 Tabrizi spectators.
Farhad Kheirkhah put the host ahead just four minutes into the match with a long–range shoot.
Sepahan’s Ibrahima Touré equalized the match with a header six minutes later.
Traktorsazi put Sepahan under pressure in the second half, but failed to score again.
Sepahan lies on top of the IPL standings table with 56 points, Zob Ahan has 52 in second place, and Persepolis is in third place with 49 points.
Traktorsazi is sixth with 39 points.
Meanwhile in other IPL matches, Steel Azin defeated Saipa 4-3 in Tehran and Rah Ahan edged Saba Battery 1-0 in Qom.
