Persepolis beats Sanaat Naft 1-0 [VIDEO]

PTV – ABADAN, Tehran’s popular soccer team Persepolis has clinched a 1-0 victory over Sanaat Naft in the fourth week of the Iranian Premier League (IPL).

Persepolis striker Gholamreza Rezaei scored the only goal of the game in the 37th minute in Abadan’s Takhti Stadium on Sunday to bring the number of his goals throughout the tenth IPL to four.

Sannat Naft’s manager Alfredo Casimiro was sent off in the 78th minute of the game after he protested to the referee over his judgment.

Ali Daei’s men currently stand in the third IPL place with nine points, while Sanaat Naft sits second due to a better goal difference. Zob Ahan, coached by Mansour Ebrahimzadeh, tops the table with 10 points after four games.
