Loading...PFDC – BILBAO, CA Osasuna suffered a bitter 1-0 defeat in the Basque derby against Athletic Bilbao on Sunday evening.
Athletic Bilbao were the lucky winner in an overall week derby match against CA Osasuna.
The Pamplona side took control of the match from the beginning but Jose Antonio Camacho’s men weren’t able to benefit from several scoring opportunites.
Bilbao’s Carlos Gurpegui scored the vital winner in the 92nd minute with a nice header from close range.
Masoud Shojaei showed a satisfying performance and was subbed out in the 89th minute, his compatriot Javad Nekounam again had a convincing appearance throughout the complete playing time.
