Zob Ahan ranks 1st among Iranian teams in IFFHS

MNA – ESFAHAN, Zob Ahan has been named the best Iranian team in 2010 in the rankings of the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).

The AFC Champions League runner-up has been selected as the leading Iranian team in the rankings with 120 points. Zob Ahan is fourth among the Asian teams and 118th in the world.

Esteghlal is second among the Iranian teams bagging 88 points followed by Sepahan and Mes with 86 and 71 points respectively.

Spain’s Barcelona is leading the rankings with 2,459 points followed by English Manchester United (2436 points) and Liverpool (2362 points).
