Shojaei assist helps Osasuna to victory [VIDEO]

PFDC – MALAGA, A last minute goal by Sergio gave Osasuna a vital 1-0 victory over FC Malaga in La Liga on Saturday, as the defender got to the end of a Masoud Shojaei corner kick.

Masoud Shojaei had come off the bench 21 minutes from time and not only revived Osasuna’s attacking play, but also grabbed his third assist within the last four games.

Javad Nekounam played the full 90 minutes, showing a solid performance and being unlucky not to take advantage of a couple of scoring chances.

Osasuna now stand in 14th position of the table, three clear of a relegation spot.

In Germany, Ali Karimi once more didn’t make the 18-men-squad as Schalke slowly drop near the relegation zone after a 0-1 defeat to Vfb Stuttgart.
