Hadi Aghili joins Al-Arabi SC
The 30-year-old defender met Nasser Al Hitmi, Secretary General of Al Arabi SC, and Board Members of the Club in Doha.
He will undergo medical checkup at the Aspetar (specialized Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Hospital). Hadi Aghili will replace international Bahrain defender Issa Salman in Al-Arabi.
“I had offers from the Emirati and Turkish clubs but preferred to join Al-Arabi. Hopefully, I can prove myself in the Qatari football team,” Aghili said.
Aghili has played for Iran’s Persepolis, Saipa and Sepahan football clubs. He has played 54 times for Iran football team and scored eight goals. He has won Iran Professional League title twice as well as Iran’s Hazfi Cup two times.
Zob Ahan striker Mohammad-Reza Khalatbari has also joined Al-Gharrafa of Qatar.
