Indonesia take on Jordan in final warm-up

AFC – AMMAN, South-East Asians Indonesia will play their final warm-up on Saturday evening against Jordan at the Amman International Stadium ahead of their 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Iran on September 2.

The Indonesians arrived in Amman on Thursday and have been training since then.

Coach Wim Risjbergen was quoted as saying in the Jakarta Post that the players were in good shape after the long flight.

“The players have improved their physical condition, but I can’t tell how much as it’s still the fasting month. We’ll see when we play Jordan and Iran how long they can survive,” the Dutchman said.

Besides Iran, Indonesia will also have to contend with Qatar and Bahrain.
