Qatar stronger than Indonesia, Ali Karimi says

Loading...MNA – DOHA, Iranian football star Ali Karimi has said that Qatar is a stronger team than Indonesia.
Iran defeated Indonesia 3-0 in Group E of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers on Friday and will meet Qatari football team in Doha on Tuesday.
“Iran has a difficult match against Qatar, where the weather is both hot and humid, however their stadium’s cooling system can reduce these problems,” Karimi said on Monday.
“Qatar is a better team than Indonesia but in my opinion, these kinds of matches should be considered as the warm up games for the next round. Teams like Japan, South Korea and Australia are Asian powerhouses that can make us cautious,” the 33-year-old midfielder said.
“At the moment, the well-prepared players have been invited to Iran national team and I think we have potential to qualify for the next round,” Karimi concluded.
