Nekounam scores in derby loss [VIDEO]

PFDC – BILBAO, CA Osasuna suffered another Basque derby loss, suffering a 1-3 defeat in the hands of Athletic Bilbao on Monday evening.

Three goals within the final third of the first half decided the game, before Osasuna were reduced to ten men after Lama’s red card.

Iranian midfielder Javad Nekounam’s injury time penalty goal just served as consolation. While the Team Melli captain played the full 90 minutes his countrymate Masoud Shojaei will have to undergo another surgery and will be at least out for another four months.
