Foolad defeats Traktor Sazi in Ahvaz

MNA – AHVAZ, Foolad defeated Traktor Sazi in the Iran Professional Football (IPL) thanks to a brace from Hakim Nasari on Friday.

Foolad defeated Traktor Sazi 2-1 in Ahvaz’s Takhti Stadium. Hakim Nasari netted a brace for the hosts in the 39th and 68th minutes. Ehsan Haj Safi was on target for Traktor Sazi team in the 48th minute.

Elsewhere, Naft of Tehran was held to 2-2 draw by Shahrdari at Tabriz’s Yadegare Emam Stadium, Saipa came from two goals down to earn a late draw against Rah Ahan, Malavan defeated Sepasi 2-0, Zob Ahan of Isfahan lost its home game 3-1 to Sanat Naft of Abadan, Shahin beat Mes 1-0 and Damash humiliated Mes of Sarcheshmeh 4-0.
 
On Saturday, Saba will host IPL pacesetter Esteghlal while Persepolis is scheduled to face Sepahan of Isfahan in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
