Persepolis coach to be named on Sunday

Loading...TEHRAN TIMES – TEHRAN, Persepolis general manager Mohammad Ruyanian plans to unveil the next coach of the football team on Sunday.
Hamid Estili stepped down as the coach of Persepolis after Esteghlal knocked the team out of Iran’s Hazfi Cup.
“We have chosen our coach and will make announcement Sunday. Next Persepolis coach is not an Iranian,” Ruyanian said.
Estili was appointed as Persepolis coach at the beginning of the season but was forced to quit after poor results in the Iranian Professional League and the Hazfi Cup.
