Khalatbari stars in Al Wasl win [VIDEO]

PFDC – DUBAI, After a disappointing start with his new club Al Wasl midweek, Mohammad-Reza Khalatbari became the matchwinner for an ecstatic Diego Maradona in UAE League on Saturday.

Al Wasl were trailing Al Ahli 0-1 before Khalatbari won a penalty kick, which equalized the game, before setting up the late winner with a leftfooted cross from the right flank.

Khalatbari had switched from Iran’s Zob Ahan to Qatar Stars league outfits Al Gharafa in summer, but transfered to Maradona’s struggling team in January after Al Gharafa’s poor showing in autumn.
