Osasuna celebrate victory against Barca [VIDEO]

PFDC – PAMPLONA, Barcelona experienced one of their darkest moments at Pamplona’s Reyno de Navarra on Saturday evening. Osasuna’s Serbian striker Dejan Lekic and his teammates did what players like Messi, Iniesta or Xavi are usually used to.

Jose Luis Mendilibar’s men defeated the Spanish powerhorse FC Barcelona 3-2 by goals from Lekic (5′, 22′) and Raul Garcia (56′).

Barca, who were forced to win due to Real Madrid’s top form, were only able to avoid a possible disgrace. The goals of Pep Guadiola’s team were scored by Alexis Sanchez (51′) and Christian Tello (73′).

The Iranian international Javad Nekounam (31), who as usual played the full game, displayed cleverness and ball-winning abilities, especially against Argentinian wizard Lionel Messi.

The 31-year old showed a classy performance and was one of the strongest men of Osasuna, alongside Lekic, Raul Garcia and Osasuna goalkeeper Andres Fernandez.

The Basque side is currently on 8th position after 22 matches in the Spanish La Liga, while Barcelona is still lagging behind table-toppers Real Madrid.
