Majid Saleh sacked by Saipa
TEHRAN TIMES – KARAJ, Saipa has fired its coach Majid Saleh following a 2-1 loss to Sepahan in Iran Professional League (IPL).
Saipa has lost nine games in the IPL current season under Saleh, which left the Karaj based team at the 10th place of the standings table.
Saipa released a statement which read: “The Board would like to place on record their sincere thanks and appreciation to Majid Saleh and he leaves with the very best wishes of everyone connected to the club.”
The 47-year-old had succeeded Mohammad Mayeli Kohan in May 2011.
Mojtaba Taghavi replaced Saleh in Saipa.
