Dejagah assists in Wolfsburg win [VIDEO]

PFDC – WOLFSBURG, A strong Ashkan Dejagah helped Vfl Wolfsburg to a third consecutive Bundesliga win on Friday evening.

Dejagah grabbed his seventh assist of the season in the 2-1 victory over Hamburg SV, when he stole the ball from German international leftback Aogo early in second half and concluded his run over the right wing with an excellent cross, which was met by striker Mandzukic on the far post, who made it 1-0.

Only moments later, Hamburg equalized, but Schäfer’s direct freekick after 75 minutes gave Wolfsburg a 2-1 victory which put them back in the race for UEFA Europa League qualification.

Wolfsburg are in ninth position of the standings, two spots and two points behind an Europa League spot.

Dejagah also has three goals to his tally this season.
