Iran wins AFC Dream Asia Cerebral Palsy tournament
TEHRAN TIMES – ABU DHABI, Iran claimed the title of the AFC Dream Asia Cerebral Palsy Tournament UAE 2012 on Friday.
The Iranian team defeated South Korea 2-0 in Abu Dhabi’s Military Forces Stadium.
Iran had previously defeated Australia, Singapore, Jordan and the UAE.
The six-nation competition was the first tournament by the AFC for people with cerebral palsy and is held under Dream Asia, an AFC-led movement that uses football for positive social change.
