TEHRAN TIMES – ISFAHAN, Persepolis football team suffered its fourth loss in the current season of the Iran Professional League on Sunday.

Sepahan defeated Persepolis 2-0 in Isfahan’s Fooladshahr Stadium and moved up to second place, one point behind leader Naft.

Adel Kolahkaj scored the opening in the 52nd minute and substitute Xhevahir Sukaj extended the lead in the 73rd minute.

Elsewhere, Naft beat Saba thanks to a goal from Hadi Shakouri in the 78th minute. The Tehran based team moved to top of the standings with 18 points.
