Aluminum Hormozgan signs Eamon Zayed
TEHRAN TIMES – BANDAR ABBAS, Former Persepolis striker joined Aluminum Hormozgan on Friday until the end of the season.
Zayed quit Derry City last year and signed a deal with Iranian football club Persepolis.
The Dubliner was named Mr. Hat-trick after came off the bench to score three goals on his home debut in front of more than 90,000 fans.
The 30-year-old striker was forced to leave the Iranian giant after former Portuguese Persepolis coach Manuel Jose didn’t play him.
“Zayed is here to pen a contract with Aluminum,” Aluminum coach Akbar Misaghian said. “I know there are high expectations from the fans after we signed Milad Meydavoudi and Eamon Zayed.”
