S. Korean Football Association: Choi should apologize to Iranians
Persianfootball.com – SEOUL, Iran’s national football team manager Mr. Mohammad Nabi said today that during his meeting with Korean Football Association officials they have announced that S. Korea’s national football team coach Choi should apologize to Iranian people for his remarks.
The Korean Football Association announcement has been triggered due to the Choi’s remarks that he wanted to crush Iran’s hopes of an automatic World Cup qualification after being ‘badly treated’ in Tehran last year and that he wishes Uzbekistan to qualify directly to the World Cup instead of Iran.
Iranian manager added also that Team Melli is practicing hard and fortunately all players are injury free and ready to accompany Team Melli for the upcoming World Cup qualifier against S. Korea.
