Splendid Shojaei again makes the difference [VIDEO]

Persianfootball.com – LAS PALMAS, Masoud Shojaei’s excellent form continued in Spain on Sunday in Las Palmas’ 2-0 win over Girona FC on Sunday.

Shojaei had been influential in his previous two games already, scoring the 1-0 in both Las Palmas victories after the team had failed to win a single match before Shojaei joined by the end of August.

The Iranian international once more played the full 90 minutes and crowned his great performance as best Las Palmas attacker by assisting the 1-0 with a beautiful pass before Las Palmas added a second with an injury time penalty, which came after Shojaei had inscened a teammate in the box.

Meanwhile Iranian younster Alireza Jahanbakhsh started and showed a good performance in NEC Nijmegen’s 1-1 draw against ADO Den Haag in the Netherlands.

Elsewhere Reza Ghoochannejhad started but was subbed out in second half after a disappointing performance in Standard Liege’s UEFA Europa League defeat on Thursday before making the 18-man-squad but not coming into play in a league victory on Sunday.

Daniel Davari once more remained on the bench in Eintracht Braunschweig’s 1-4 defeat to Mönchengladbach in Bundesliga on Saturday whereas Ashkan Dejagah and the injured Sardar Azmoun were not even on the bench in their teams’ league defeats against Chelsea and Tomsk.
