Football plays role in dialogue of civilizations, Ghalenoei says

Loading...Tehran Times – SEOUL, Esteghlal coach Amir Ghalenoei said on Tuesday that football’s role in the dialogue of civilizations is very important.
Esteghlal will play FC Seoul in the AFC Champions League quarterfinals first leg at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on Wednesday.
“We respect our opponent. I think football can play a big role in the dialogue of civilizations,” Ghalenoei said in the news conference on Tuesday.
“Our priority in the match should be not conceding a goal. We also think about attacking football. In the second leg we can defeat FC Seoul with the support of our fans,” Esteghlal coach added.
The second leg will be held on October 2 at the Azadi Stadium in Tehran.
