Loading...AFC – KERMAN, Iran secured their place at the AFC U-19 Championship 2014 Group D winners following a 1-0 win over Saudi Arabia in the final round of qualifying fixtures on Saturday.
Midfielder Saeid Aghaei Nojedeh scored the only goal of the game 38 minutes into the top-of-the-table clash at the Shahid Bahonar Stadium as Iran ended their successful campaign having won all three of their Group D matches.
Iran and the winners of the eight other groups as well as the six best runners-up join hosts Myanmar in next year’s AFC U-19 Championship finals.
