Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Yahya Golmohammadi is no longer the head coach of the Naft football team.

Golmohammadi stepped down as head coach of Naft on Sunday.

“We will announce our new head coach within the next 24 hours. We didn’t know why Golmohammadi has made this decision,” Naft general manager Mansour Ghanbarzadeh told Mehr news agency.

Former Persepolis coach replaced Mansour Ebrahimzadeh in Naft in May. Golmohammadi parted company with Persepolis after the team lost to Sepana in penalty shootout in Iran’s Hazfi Cup final in early May.
