Iran, Kuwait qualifier changed

Tehran Times – TEHRAN, The match between Iran and Kuwait in Group B of the 2015 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers has been moved to an earlier date.

Iran and Kuwait match was originally scheduled for March 5 but it will be held two days earlier in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.

The Iranian football officials wrote a letter to Asian Football Confederation and wanted them to change the date since the Persians are preparing for a warm-up match for FIFA window on March 5th.

Iran and Kuwait have already qualified for the competition ahead of Lebanon and Thailand in the group.

Iran has been drawn in Group F of the 2014 World Cup along with Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Nigeria.
