Javad Nekounam set to stay at Esteghlal

Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Javad Nekounam seems set to stay at Esteghlal football team after the midfielder participated in the team’s training on Wednesday.

According to the reports, Former Osasuna midfielder has been linked with a move to a Chinese or Qatari team.

Nekounam, whose current contract expires in the summer, has reached an agreement with Esteghlal officials to stay in the team.

Esteghlal is top of the table of the Iran Professional League.
