Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Iran is poised to play its first warm-up match for the 2014 World Cup against Guinea on March 5 in Tehran.

The Iranian team, which has been pitted against Nigeria, Argentina and Bosnia and Herzegovina in Group A, will host the African team on next Wednesday at the Azadi Stadium.

Iran will hold a training camp in Johannesburg, South Africa from April 13 and it will last 24 days.

Carlos Queiroz’s team is scheduled to play three friendly matches with South African clubs and Mozambique in this camp.

The Asian powerhouse will also play Belarus, Montenegro, Macedonia and Angola in its pre-tournament camp in Austria in May.
