Marzban takes over the reins of Padideh FC
Persianfootball.com – MASHHAD, Alireza Marzban has been named as Head Coach of Padideh FC for the team’s debut in Persian Gulf Cup 2014-15 season as reported by the club’s official website.
The German-Iranian had mostly been assistant coach to many coaches most notably Misaghian in Padideh last season, Kranjčar in Sepahan and Montenegro national team, Estili in Estil Azin and Ghotbi in Persepolis. This is only his third club as Head Coach, he had previously coached 1.FC Eschborn and KSV Baunatal in Germany prior to 2007.
His team of staff include Mashhad locals Mojtaba Sarasiabi as Team Manager, Mohammad Babaei and Majid Nowrouzi as coaches, as well as Ali Nazarzadeh and former Team Melli and Persepolis great Saeed Azizian as Goal Keeping coach. There are also negotiations with Thomas Häßler, Rüdiger Abramczik and few others, of which one will be chosen to join Marzban’s staff.
Contracted players so far are Mojtaba Roshangar (Goal Keeper), Masoud Nazarzadeh, Mohammad Rajabzadeh, Vahid Asgari, Meisam Rezapour, Fariborz Gerami, Alireza Heydari (U23), Mohammad Valizadeh (U21) all of whom were with the club last year. Joining them are Mashhad locals Reza Enayati (from Saba Qom) and Reza Nasehi (from SAIPA), also Mohammad Nejad Mahdi (from Nasaji Ghaemshahr) and Mohammad Reza Bazaj (Iran U23). The club has also reached agreements with footballers Younes Shakeri and Javad Zeighami whose contracts are yet to be finalized.
