Nekounam scores in Osasuna comeback [VIDEO]

Persianfootball.com – PAMPLONA, Iran captain Javad Nekounam finally celebrated his comeback at Osasuna and immediately got his name onto the scoresheet as the Basques suffered a disappointing 1-3 home defeat to Deportivo Alaves in Spain’s second league though.

Nekounam, who had missed two previous encounters after his former club Kuwait SC had failed to send back the international player pass in time, scored Osasuna’s lone goal from the penalty spot in second half.

Osasuna’s other Iranian player, recent signing Karim Ansarifard, didn’t make the squad yet due to lack of physical fitness.
