Persianfootball.com – PAMPLONA, A great second half comeback gave Osasuna a 3-2 victory over Betis Sevilla on Sunday.

Both Javad Nekounam and Karim Ansarifard started for the homeside who had a dissapointing first half and deservingly trailed Betis by two goals.
Despite a solid performance as central forward, Ansarifard was replaced by winger Sisi at halftime, but it was the once more outstanding veteran midfielder Nekounam who brought Osasuna back into the game when he met a prolonged corner kick at the far post to pull a goal back immediately after the restart.

Two further goals, the last in the dying minutes of the game after a goalkeeping blunder, gave Osasuna a shock victory.

Also on Sunday, Alireza Jahanbakhsh and NEC looked like certain winners after taking a 2-0 lead, but two late goals after the Iranian winger was subbed out cost the league leaders two valuable points.

On Saturday Alireza Haghighi and Penafiel lost 1-2 in the league with the Iranian goalkeeper conceding two very well taken freekicks but else showing a pleasing performance.

Daniel Davari once more was benched as Grasshoppers suffered a 0-2 defeat to FC Basel.

On Monday, Sardar Azmoun came on in second half as Rubin took a 90th minute lead, but conceded the 1-1 two minutes later.
