Tasnim – MELBOURNE, Australia striker Tim Cahill said that Iran and Japan are his team’s biggest dangers in the 2015 AFC Asian Cup.

The AFC Asian Cup will kick off in Melbourne on January 9th.

The Socceroos will face Kuwait, South Korea and Oman in Group A.

“Australia’s biggest dangers would be from Japan – an obvious contender – and Iran. I really feel Iran, the way they performed in the World Cup, was pretty special,” Cahill said in the news conference.

“We have to be ruthless. I don’t care how we win, as long as we win,” he added.

“Let’s try to get through the group stage making an impact. Tournament form going into the last stages is really important, not only for confidence but for the fans and everyone collectively,” New York Red Bulls said.
