Nekounam Appointed Carlos Queiroz’s Assistant

Loading...Tasnim – TEHRAN, Former Iranian national football team captain Javad Nekounam has been named as Carlos Queiroz’s assistant in Team Melli.
On Tuesday, at the session of the Iran Football Federation’s executive board, Nekounam was chosen as Iran assistant.
Iran’s most capped player of all time bade farewell to Team Melli on April 1.
Former Iran and Persepolis defender Afshin Peyrovani was also named as Iran football team manager in the session.
Iran football team is preparing for the 2018 World Cup qualification.
