Tasnim – ISFAHAN, Iran’s Tasisat Daryaei defeated Nagoya Oceans of Japan 4-3 in the quarter-final of the 2015 AFC Futsal Club Championship on Tuesday.

The Iranian team knocked out the defending champion to set up a semi-final meeting with NAFT Al Wasat from Iraq on Wednesday.

Vahid Shamsaee scored twice and set up a third for Reza Sangsefidi while Mohammad Zaraei also found the back of the net as the host progressed to the semis after a pulsating clash with the two-time winner.

Rafael Sakai had given Nagoya the lead and Kaoru Morioka was also on target for Victor Acosta’s team, but it was not enough to deny a home side backed by a boisterous crowd inside the Nagshe Jahan Stadium.

Morioka added his Nagoya’s third seconds before the final whistle.

The 6th edition of the AFC Futsal Club Championship began on July 31 in Isfahan, central Iran, and will finish on August 7.
